How To Perform Swiss Ball Ab Workouts

 

If you want to perform swiss ball exercises effectively, it is essential to seek advice from an expert before you perform any exercises using the ball. There are a few recommended ways on how to use the ball if you are beginner; this is very beneficial especially if you desire to improve your lower ab exercise regime.

 

Here is a short list to guide you since it is always important to seek professional advice before commencing on any fitness program especially, is you have any sort of back pain or injury.

 

1. The shoulder roll – This exercise can be performed by placing the swiss ball underneath the shoulder and then rolling it between six to eight inches to the right and the left as well. You should do several repetitions on each side.

 

2. The back arch – To do this exercise, place the swiss ball at the middle of the back with both arms facing downwards by your sides, bend the knees and then use your arms to touch the head. Maintain this position for about ten seconds. It is essential to perform swiss ball ab exercises until you become accustomed to the routine.

 

3. Leg extensions – This exercise can be done by laying on the ball, make sure the swill ball is at the middle of the back. Straighten your right leg for about ten seconds and then repeat the same procedure on the other leg. With time, you should be able to do this routine for about ten times on each leg.
